WhatcomTalk, a NorthAmericaTalk community social network based in Bellingham, Washington, recently received a Member of the Month award from the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce.
“The Ferndale Chamber is made up of so many inspiring individuals and businesses. We’re proud to be recognized by our fellow Ferndale Chamber members for this honor,” said Stacee Sledge, Community Manager for WhatcomTalk.
“We are consistently appreciative of chambers and business groups that recognize the positive impact of our community social networks to the community,” said CEO Dan Jones.
On behalf of the WhatcomTalk team, Stacee Sledge, Kevin Coleman, and Dondi Tondro-Smith accepted the award.
“Since our team lives, works, and plays in the community, it was easy for Stacee, Kevin and Dondi to meet with chamber staff and members to celebrate the award. Being in the community is a critical piece of our business model,” said Amy Rowley, Chief Publishing Officer.
WhatcomTalk will now be one of the members eligible for the Ferndale Chamber’s Business of the Year award.
“We applaud Stacee and her team for creating a sustainable business in Bellingham. It’s so fun to celebrate these awards together,” said Jones.
