Cover models don’t usually hide behind a keyboard.
Recently, the NorthAmericaTalk team found itself on the cover of The Voice, a publication published by the Thurston County Chamber of Chamber. The magazine featured NorthAmericaTalk on the cover of their July issue.
“When Natasha Ashenhurst reached out to get an update on NorthAmericaTalk, we jumped at the chance to share our story with the Thurston Chamber readers,” says co-founder Dan Jones.
For our team, this was the first time many of us were interviewed and photographed for a print publication. “We used this opportunity to share the success of our business with the greater community,” shares CEO Amy Rowley.
“Being on the other side of an interview was a novel experience, since I’m usually the one asking the questions,” says Kate Scriven, associate editor ThurstonTalk.
“It’s rewarding working for a company that shares positive stories about the community. Being highlighted for the work that we do further reinforces this feeling,” adds Margo Greenman, associate editor for SouthSoundTalk and WhatcomTalk.
As a media company, it’s often tough for our company to get coverage in the press. “I just really appreciate that the Chamber took the time to feature us,” summarizes Dan.
